OUR CLIENTS

We serve a diverse group of non-profit associations and organizations, corporations and individuals in construction, real estate, labor, and beyond.

BUSINESSES

In New York’s fast paced business arena, we pride ourselves on being highly responsive to the needs and concerns of our clients.  The broad, practical knowledge we bring to each assignment we undertake brings value to the businesses we represent. We strategize and devise legal frameworks that guard against unnecessary risk and effectively leverage opportunities.

We represent a full range of business entities including but not limited to construction contractors, real estate owners, and not-for-profit organizations.

ASSOCIATIONS

An important part of our practice includes the building trade associations we represent. Our critical understanding of business, labor and policy allows us to serve as an important legal resource for many complex matters in the construction industry and beyond.

UNION
BENEFIT
FUNDS

As counsel to various ERISA and Multi-Employer Taft Hartley Funds, we provide review and advice on all legal matters for the union pension, welfare, annuity, and vacation benefit funds that we represent. We work in collaboration with Fund Trustees, administrators, accountants, actuaries, and investment consultants to ensure the Funds are in compliance with their own policies as well as all local, state, and federal laws, that the Funds meet the needs of their participants, that employer contributions are collected, and that all issues are resolved in an effective and timely manner.

Our legal representation extends to the Joint Labor-Management and Joint Apprenticeship Committees. In both committees, our extensive experience helps to navigate the Trustees in areas involving target programs designed to help union contractors successfully win jobs, and the educational needs of the apprentice schools to ensure students’ success in entering a unionized construction trade.
